Hoar Frost Update
Here’s a brief update for those of you who’ve asked about our winter sun… the high pressure system moved in today, temps dropped and the sun came out (a.k.a. things are back to winter normal here in wintry Edmonton)… and this.. THIS is what sun on a good hoar frost looks like!
Where the trails converge, you’re greeted with this!
Frost clings to every branch on this poplar tree.
The trails along the river were particularly heavy in frost.
Looking across the frozen North Saskatchewan River (not north in Alberta and certainly not in Saskatchewan!)
Many of the trails in our city are multiuse… and that includes horesback riding.
There are pedestrian bridges that criss cross the river that runs through our city, connecting an extensive trail network.
